Great news Android users! Pixable, your favorite photo inbox launched the official release of its Android app today! The app, developed by Pixable team member and winner of the Global Android Developer Challenge, Juan Carlos Viota, is now three times faster and elegantly aggregates photos from Instagram, Twitter, and Google Drive in addition to Facebook.
Check out the new features:
Twitter and Instagram Integration: We’ve fully integrated both Twitter and Instagram! That means you can swipe through your friends’ photos shared on these two networks in addition to Facebook all in one place. You can also reply to, retweet, comment on, and like these photos directly through Pixable.
Twitter Comments: For the first time you will be able to view and reply to comments on Twitter photos! Pixable automatically aggregates the @replys to photos shared on Twitter, and let’s you @reply to add your own comment.
Faves: Keep track of your favorite photos with “faves”. When you fave a photo on Pixable, it gets saved to your Fave Section so you can go back to it at any time.
Google Drive integration: Browse through all of the photos you’ve uploaded to Google Drive directly through Pixable!
The best news is that the application is already available on Google Play!
Pixable is a start-up founded by three MIT students and is now located in New York City.
