Bringing order – and elegance – to Facebook photos.
Pixable’s co-founders, Inaki, Andres, and Alberto are in Palm Desert, California today, at the DEMO 2011 Spring Conference preparing to present – and officially launch into existence – the new Pixable Facebook iPad app. We were stoked to bring you the App for the web last month, creating order for the billions of photos on Facebook while giving you a truly personalized photo browsing experience. But this month, as we broaden the adventure on the world’s most popular tablet…we are bouncing off the walls with excitement. Just check out Andres in this video taken at Mashable HQ, demoing the the app, (but don’t let his calm demeanor mislead you).
Response to the web app has been fantastic. Pixable sorted and ranked over 10 billion photos since the launch, with users of the app averaging around 97,000 photos in their networks. Bringing the App to the iPad is the natural next step, and it’s also taking the experience to a whole new level.
Some friends have told us they love the vertical swipe. My sister said the app “cures her boredom and fuels her procrastination”. We’d love to know what you think, too. So try it out (it’s free!), and let us know. But as we said before: don’t say we didn’t warn you. It is addictive. Please leave comments below.

Pixable is a start-up founded by three MIT students and is now located in New York City.
